Okanagan Sat-Sun

We rented a boat on Saturday with some friends from Vancouver and there’s not much more to say about that except post a little picture gallery. Really. All we did was drive fast up and down the lake until our 2 hour rental time was over. But boating is just plain fun.

On Sunday, we spent the day with our friend Kinga. Kinga lives in the perfect COVID isolation location, south of Kelowna on a huge property on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Okanagan. It was (finally) a smoking hot day so we went for a smoking hot hike in the hills a bit further south from her house. I was careful to put on lots of sunscreen, except for a circle in the middle of my back where forgot my shirt had an opening, so I have a nice, itchy, red target on my back now. Kinga’s place is worthy of another photo gallery – and I didn’t even include any of the pictures I tried to take of all the birds mobbing her bird feeder. You’re welcome!

Tomorrow we hit the road bright and early, and just like that, Coronavacation 2020 is over. Thanks for reading!
